About Liz

Hello and welcome! I’m a queer, neurodivergent therapist who has been described by others as “punk rock meets Mother Goose.” I have experience in treating anxiety, life transitions, complex and single event trauma, attachment, mood disorders, OCD, and navigating life with late-diagnosed ADHD and autism. In-depth experiential work to address longstanding emotional patterns is especially my jam. My work is heavily informed by queer & feminist theory, disability justice, liberation psychology, and lived experience. For folks curious about my specific modalities, I incorporate psychodynamic, parts/inner child work, eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), and narrative therapy in most of my work. For OCD, I specifically use inference-based cognitive behavioral therapy (I-CBT).

Curiosity, humor, and compassion are central to my approach to sessions. We are, after all, two people living in a messy reality just trying to figure it out together, 50-60 minutes at a time. Screaming, crying, quietly lying on the floor to contemplate life itself - all of it is welcome here.

I offer appointments both virtually or in-person at my office in Centennial.
